Go Green Be Green Pty Ltd is an Australian owned and operated company that, in Association with Go Green Energy Solutions Australia, has been operating for many years in the Sydney and Illawarra area helping people to become more energy efficient and environmentally aware. Our first program was introducing customers to the new CFL energy saving lights globes, continuing with our home FREE energy assessments.
Our Company is now introducing its clients to other means of becoming energy efficient. One is using their roof space to create Electricity from the Sun by putting Photo Voltaic Panels onto their roof. Not only are you creating green power from your home you are also saving hundreds of dollars on electricity costs via the NSW Solar Tariff. Electricity companies now offer as high as 68 cents for each kilowatt hour produced from your property. Home sustainability assessments
Households are often overwhelmed by the amount of information available describing the best actions to save energy and water and to reduce greenhouse gases. It can be difficult to decide what action to take.
Free, independent assessment
Go Green Be Green can arrange a free, comprehensive Home Sustainability Assessment to show householders how to reduce their energy and water bills, increase the comfort of their home and help reduce damaging carbon pollution.
This independent assessment by a qualified expert assessor will provide advice from the smallest behaviour change to major investments such as a solar hot water system or photovoltaic panels.
The Free assessment is part of the Federal Goverments Green Loans program, which is a Federal Government initative to tackle climate change. The Green Loan Component of the program is no longer available however local Building Societies and Credit Unions are now offering Green Loans to help with the cost of greening your home. What is involved?
The assessment involves the physical inspection of major energy and water systems relating to thermal comfort, water heating, lighting, refrigeration, cooking, entertainment, water efficiency and outdoor consumption, and waste management.
The data is entered into a sophisticated assessment software tool to allow environmental impact calculations.
How long does it take?
The length of the inspection is influenced by the amount of information readily available, the size of the property and the number of energy and water systems to be considered.
Each assessment should take around 1.5 hours to complete.
